I've seen Das Boot and loved it. Should I still read the book?

Yes! I haven't read the book/seen the movie, however, movies NEVER enjoy as breadth details equally the books. I regularly try also read the scroll customary a series (Harry Potter, Twilight, ect.) before seeing the movies, just so if existent in the movie doesn't make sense, it does to me considering I have and background information on what is cave on.
